TUE :: 8 mile Treadmill Run w/ (5:00, 3:00, 1:00) w/ 2.5 min rest, rolling hills for the final 4 miles
WED :: 8 miles
THUR :: 6 miles
FRI :: 3 miles
SAT :: Black Canyon 100k
SUN :: OFF
Race week! Bozeman ended up getting some of that mid-30s kind of wintery mix all week. So the footing was pretty terrible. Kind of loose snow on ice? Did the pick-ups on the treadmill to be safe. The rest of the week was very slow moving between ice and mud on the Friday run. Felt good about the structure of the taper — however, body was feeling a little off this week. Don’t really have an explanation for why. I did a good job hydrating, resting, easy running. Maybe just nerves? Either way. Did all the things to set up race day. Will do a thorough race-day experience post soon. :)
