Herman’s Training Log - March 8 Update
Talked to Jason from Excel PT, here in Bozeman. I’ll be hitting the bike, minimally, the next couple of weeks, alongside some heat/ice bath and elevation rest for my ankle, which is likely an anterior tibialis tendon injury.
Friday, March 8 - 30 minutes easy bike, heat/cold ankle in 5min intervals, elevate legs;
Saturday, March 9 - 30 minutes easy bike, heat/cold ankle in 5min intervals, elevate legs;
Sunday, March 10 - 30 minutes easy bike, heat/cold ankle in 5min intervals, elevate legs;
Monday - rest;
Tuesday - 45 minutes easy bike, band resistance on the feet/ankles for light strengthening and mobility, heat/cold ankle in 5min intervals, elevate legs;
Wednesday - 45 minutes easy bike, 30 minutes upper body lifting (shoulder press, chest press, dips, pull ups, rows, bicep curls), heat/cold ankle in 5min intervals, elevate legs;
Thursday - 45 minutes easy bike, heat/cold ankle in 5min intervals, elevate legs;
Friday - 45 minutes easy bike, band resistance on the feet/ankles for light strengthening and mobility, heat/cold ankle in 5min intervals, elevate legs;
Saturday - 60 minutes outside walking, heat/cold ankle in 5min intervals, elevate legs; and
Sunday - 60 minutes outside walking, heat/cold ankle in 5min intervals, elevate legs.
Super exciting, I know, but that’s a slow, easy rebuild. Stow away the frustration for future draw, will need it.
